RJK
Power Systems, in conjunction with RJK Mobile Mechanics, is currently undertaking
the task of disassembling a powerhouse in British Columbia, Canada. This
project requires the diversified abilities of the RJK Group of Companies.
The B.C. project employs more than 30 tradespeople, including persons from
the Heavy Duty Mechanical, Welding, Electrical, Trucking, Crane Operating,
Parts Trades. As well, the project employs labourers from across Saskatchewan,
Alberta and British Columbia.
Phase One of the
project--disassembling the station at Fort Nelson, BC and preparing it
for transport--is officially complete. Now, the RJK Group can focus on
Phase Two. Click on the link to see images from
Phase One of the project.
Phase Two--relocating
the station to Elmworth, AB and re-assembling it--is now well under way.
Now that RJK's focus is solely on the reconstruction of the station, we'll
have more frequent progress reports from the site. Click on the link to
see images from Phase Two.
This is quick video
from the site, from the crew to their favorite person. Hi, Mom! :)
Note: Netscape is having issues with this
video, and will not display correctly. Sorry for the inconvenience; I
have to do a little research to resolve this issue, but I hope to have
it corrected soon.
The personnel at
the BC project are a hard working diligent group, and each week they choose
a co-worker who has shown an exceptional level of respect and outstanding
performance within the scope of the project.
